There have been many firsts for my kids since moving back to the UK. Some of them include, seeing the Queen in person, celebrating the Diamond Jubilee, wearing closed in shoes (or any shoes for that matter), getting to know their Cousins, discovering central heating, enjoying a breeze in the air, proper Cadburys chocolate, marmite instead of vegemite, and snuggling up under blankets.
For me, it’s been more about finding my feet photographically in my new surroundings, getting used to overcast days, shooting in low light and embracing the shadows. I can honestly say that I’m loving every minute of it.
One of the most favourite things is playing in Bammas Attic, it’s like a special little hideout just for them.

Paddling pools in the garden, instead of swimming pools are strangely, just as fun.![]()

Discovering the English Countryside, and all the smells that go with it, hehee!

But the attic remains a firm favourite.

Lacey - These definitely have a different feel than your Australian images, Emma. I can only imagine what a fun experience this is having a totally new environment to shoot in!
Alison - These are so incredibly beautiful! Great work
